right-brained (image is going clockwise)

both!
20 (32.3%)

When I looked at it this morning, it was going counter-clockwise for me. After I glanced over at the description, it started going clockwise, and I haven't been able to get it to flip again until just now. I'm seeing it both ways depending on what/how I'm thinking?

[info]janinedog and I broke it down frame by frame. It started going counter-clockwise for me again after that =p
update: ok, I've been staring at this image too long. I can pinpoint the frame where she switches now, and force her to go in the other direction... I b0rked the experiment.
update2: placed them side by side in separate windows and eventually got them going in opposite directions o.O

I'm missing a userpic that I was going to post with. But it's not there. I must have accidently deleted it at some point?

yup, upon first glance, I saw her going clockwise.
then I stared at it more and then I could see both, and yea, I could see the transition.

but I always knew I was right-brained. I'm right-brained in a left-brained world... :x I'm often textbook something; I'm textbook F (scoring a perfect 20 on MBTI) and textbook NF, as well as textbook right-brained -- down to the "gets it" and the "big picture" -- which is really poking me in the behind in all my classes...

I wonder if it would help me to spend more time forcing her to go counter-clockwise, hmm.

when i'm looking at the poll results, i can see her going counterclockwise (left/logical), and when i look over at what i'm working on, then back, i see her going clockwise (right/creative).

based on that, i told janine to look at some math problems, then back at the image again. but if you have a right-brained approach to math, that probably wouldn't work...

I think it just takes a while. You should be able to see it clockwise eventually; I know y're creative :)

When I first saw it, it was going clockwise. Then, after I stared at her feet for a while, it switched. And after staring at it some more, I got it to switch again. Is the image actually changing or is it just a trick of the mind?

The image is normal afaik. [info]janinedog and I looked at it frame by frame.

From what I can tell personally, I think it has to do with what or how you're thinking. When I'm looking at the poll results or thinking about how it works, I see her going counter-clockwise (left/logical). When I look over at the Photoshop documents I have open, then back at the image, she's going clockwise (right/creative). But others aren't getting the same results by doing the same thing, so maybe it's just me tricking my mind?

I also got it two of them going in opposite directions when I had them open in two windows, side by side. That was trippy.

Weird!

It's kind of strange though, because usually I score as a left-brained person when I take these kinds of tests. Really neat though!

BOTH
You have to look at it for a while. At first it was only going to the right, so I thought it was going to the right only. After I watched it for a while, it switched to the left and then back to the right. So it's a trick. She actually turns both, but again, you have to watch it a while until she will start switching.

I'm not sure if I should change my answer. I mostly see her spinning clockwise, but I did manage to force her to go counterclockwise briefly, by counting in my head.

Cannot reproduce it now, though :/

I can make her spin in either direction at will by concentrating on the shadow of her foot *g*

after staring, i actually made it switch back and forth, but it did take a couple seconds.... odd.

cant see anything but right. but thats not unusual as i have had diff tests many times for this sort of thing and my left brain stuff is like dead. i struggle in reality with such a lazy left brain. i dont think it ever works.

im a dreamer.
